This adapter allows you to convert a 15 pin MALE VGA (SVGA) cable into a 24+5 pin DVI-I or DVI-AMALE PLUG connection. It will also allow you to convert a DVI-A out of a PC for example into a Female VGA connection as the adapter is bi-directional so works both ways. Gold plated ends ensure the best possible contact.

Please Note that the adapter does not convert VGA into a DVI-D (DVI-D is usually identified as it just has the 1 single pin on one side and not 5 as DVI-A and DVI-I) To do this you would need a converter as one signal is analogue and the other is digital. Please see QS: 06236
