The SVGA or VGA 15 pin cable is most commonly used to connect a PC Tower to a Monitor providing they have the 15 pin connection. With some modern TVs this cable also allows for you to connect your PC or laptop to your TV (Please ensure both devices have the 15 pin connection) providing a clear image (separate audio cable required).
