Standard size wall brackets are perfect for most CCTV dome cameras with a base size of 90mm.
The larger arm bracket is for larger cameras such as varifocal cameras and PTZ with a base size of approx. 120mm
The main advantages of using wall brackets to mount your cameras is to achieve a much better angle. You can be restricted when mounting your camera directly to a wall. Using a wall bracket allows you to mount the camera at your desired angle easily and when pointing down can allow for more coverage.
